Innova Nanojet’s groundbreaking technology

The technology company provides breakthrough products that use its ultrasonic and ultra-fine nano-scale droplet sprays, known as NanoJet platform technologies.  

These can spray trillions of supersonic and nanosized droplets to eliminate airborne contaminants and viruses using only water. This achieves rapid and highly effective disinfection of air, ensuring pollution and virus-free environments in public and indoor spaces. 

As a cost-effective and sustainable hygiene solution, INJT’s products have the potential to enable transformational changes across dozens of essential industries, including healthcare, agriculture and food, residential and commercial property, and public safety.

Support for scaling in Scotland 

INJT is just the latest in a large number of innovative companies from around the world that have chosen to locate in Scotland, which continues to be the top UK location for foreign direct investment (FDI) projects outside of London, according to the latest EY survey.  

Scottish Development International’s domestic arm, Scottish Enterprise, provided INJT with a £1.5 million grant as a contribution towards the company’s investment, which will create 195 jobs in the area. 

Scottish Enterprise has a strong relationship with INJT, and has worked closely with Team Scotland partners, including West Dunbartonshire Council and Skills Development Scotland, to support the company as it sets up its Scottish operations. 

On a recent tour of INJT’s new Scottish manufacturing facility, Reuben Aitken, Scottish Enterprise Managing Director of International Operations, commented:  

“Companies like Innova Nanojet Technologies are great examples of Scotland’s continuing success at attracting inward investment.  

“It’s fantastic to see a young, innovative company like Innova Nanojet Technologies invest close to £9 million in its Scottish infrastructure to fuel growth. Not only will this allow the business to scale quickly, but it also means a significant number of new jobs created for local communities over the next few years.”

Innova Nanojet Technologies’ plans for the future 

The first commercial application of the NanoJet technologies is the revolutionary Clean Air for Life CDa product series. These filter-less air purification systems use the Nanojet technologies to efficiently clean and disinfect indoor air.  

The series includes the CDa Pro (for business applications), CDa Model-H (for residential use), and the robotic CDaBot (for large public indoor spaces).  

These products are specifically designed to prevent aerosol transmission of viruses and remove airborne pollutants, setting new standards for air purification and viral safety.  

The CDa series has received prestigious awards, including the 2024 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) "Twice Pick" Award, and has been ranked as the "Best Air Purifier of 2024" by Techannouncer. 

With the new manufacturing facility and investment in its Scottish operations, INJT will look to scale up production of its existing products while continuing to invest in R&D for follow-up products.
